11W: Sean Nuernberger is Number 10

Welcome to The Family, Sean!!!

If Urban wants him than I want him, but kind of confusing timing considering we just landed the Australian kicker (just punter?) for this class, and our limited schollies don't end until the 2015 recruiting class.

Welcome Aboard! :oh:

I guess not that strange, Sean kicks, Aussie punts.

Cameron Johnston counts towards 2013, not 2014. Sean will become the kicker when Basil leaves.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think what MD's saying is, Johnston will count towards the 2013 recruiting class, not the 2014 recruiting class. I am sure Johnston will count towards the 82 total scholarship on the 2014 team.

edit: I am assuming Johnston doesn't go pro. He is 21 years old. As such, he is at least 3 years removed from High School.

I am a little confused why everyone is is making such a big deal about this offer. Last year (2012) we had 1 punter and 1 place kicker. Next year (2013) we will have 1 punter and 1 place kicker. In 2014, we will have 1 punter and 1 place kicker.

Did you really think we were going to go through the 2014 season without a field goal kicker? Or maybe we would just punt.
