Kellen Winslow Jr. (not a good dude)

Bottom line! Winslow is an ass. It will be funny to watch it exposed.

Here is a little proof.

Winslow Rejects Contract Offer

Kellen Winslow and his agents did not accept a contract offer from the Browns that would have paid him the same as Sean Taylor, who was selected one pick in front of Winslow in the draft.

As a result, Winslow will not be present when the Browns open training camp Friday afternoon.

I guess the Brownies have gone public with their offer to Crybaby. Said, Hey, Tony Gonzalez is the #1 TE (pay wise) in the NFL. We're willing to pay you that. Now Winslow is back in to a corner. If he doesn't accept it, it's clearly on him. What more could an unprobed rookie want than being the top paid player at his position?

Personally, I hope he balks at it and doens't report. Stupid pick. Only worse pick in the draft was Chris Perry to Cincy. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.

F**k Whinesblow...trade his ass.

My thoughts exactly. F**k Winslow and f**k the Postons. I don't blame Washington for passing on Winslow because of the Postons. I can't believe they even offered him a better deal than Gonzalaz currently has. What the f**k has Winsblow done to deserve a better deal than the best TE in the NFL!?!?

Poor Winslow

Stinks to see yet another athlete have the terrible influence of his agent. Kellen totally changed his thoughts about signing from Draft Day. When he was picked he said, give him what last year's #6 made and he'd be in camp....3 weeks later on WKNR in Cleveland, he had totally changed. Just because you think you are the best, doesn't mean you should be an idiot and hold out. He turned down today the EXACT SAME offer that was given to the Redskins pick, who was taken just before him. Come on Kellen, get in camp!!

Hmm, turn down a contract that would make you the highest paid TE in history? A contract that would far exceed the one signed by Tony Gonzalez in 2001? I guess Winslow isn't a soldier. He's a f#^$&@ mercenary!

I thought he just had his head up his ass. (Politcally Correct way to say this, "Kellen is 'unfamilair with the problem'") I'll tell you what, as many Ohio State fans as there are that are also Brown's fans, KWII may end up being more hated than Art Modell.

My question is, if he won't sign as the highest paid TE in NFL history, then what the hell is he expecting them to give him? Ownership in the team? He's overplaying his hand because he thinks the Browns are desperate because they will be 3-13 without him. What he doesn't get is that they would probably only be 5-11 or 6-10 with him, and the NFL has been playing this game a lot longer than his dumbass and his assclown father have. Dallas let Emmitt sit out 2 games in his prime, it's not freaking going to matter if KWII sits out 3 seasons...he's not going to get Peyton Manning's contract.

Why was the [Chris Perry] pick so stupid?
Cane, like you, I don't think the war/soldier comment was a big deal; just something for the tv folks to pick up on and do a little moral posturing. What I did think made Winslow look bad was the general act of throwing a bitchy little temper tantrum in the locker room after a game. Lack of class there. That and the fact that it came after a game in which he showed just one more case of posturing on the field, taunting a player that he just hit.

As far as the Perry draft pick, I personally feel that it was the O-line, not Chris Perry, that made the Michigan running game click last year. We'll see though, whether Perry becomes just another UM running back to be mediocre in the pros, or whether he surprises the doubters.
