Wait. I don't think anyone here watched that game.

Kobe was getting hounded by defenders. Even doubled, because everyone in the building knew he was getting the ball on offense. He didn't let himself sit a single second in the 2nd half- played all 24 minutes. The shots he hit late were incredible and contested.

It was pure sports entertainment. May be the only full NBA game I watched all season. Loved every second of it.

So I was eating lunch in our break room at work today and there was a basketball game on ESPN when he ticker scrolled across with a comment from Kobe Bryant saying that there are three WNBA players that can "play in the NBA, right now." IIRC, the three were Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore, Elena Delle Donne. Glad I didn't have an food in my mouth at the time...
