Kid is a straight up beast. Supposedly grew up a Miami (Fl) fan soo...

All that means is Miami will be in his final top 5 but most likely wont go there. Its funny every year how many kids grew up Miami fans when they were young. But then they go to the campus and see how crappy the facilities are, and how the fans are so fickle and could care less about the team.
I think osu should have a great shot, but its so early

Add to the fact that Miami still has to deal with the issues surrounding Nevin Shapiro.

Scout $ - No Days Off for Five-Star OT

12/12

Coaches from Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Michigan, and others have been by his school...recently got 77 handwritten letters from Alabama followed by 78 from TAMU.

Thats such a cute tactic by Alabama, and I see other sec schools are following their lead. Never saw the purpose in bombarding a kid with letters. Is it supposed to make him feel that you want him more? Did he not realize that after letter #25?

Scout$--Smith Won?t Rush Decision

Braden says there are too many variables right now to even consider narrowing a list. He is looking for academics, tradition, culture, and atmosphere. Finally, he looks forward to competition and earning playing time but understands that may also mean a redshirt if deserved.

In all of the years we've covered recruiting, this may be the most humble and focused 16-year old I've ever seen.

There aren't many recruits out here in Kansas that OSU has much interest in so he must be a good one. I work 20 minutes from Olathe South HS so I'm going to check him out next fall and see what all the hype is about. We need quality O-lineman next year that have college-ready bodies, like this kid, that could step in right away and give us some quality depth at the position.
