Wan’Dale Robinson (WR/RB Nebraska, transfer to Kentucky)

I was in the belief that UK was going to be a factor. The Cats came back down to earth this past weekend and after a bad road loss to Mizzou coming up 5 days before his early November announcement..... the decision to pick the good guys will be that much easier to make.

We just lost a kid to his hometown school, and this was after he was on a visit to OSU and watched the school that he flipped to lose! The decision to pick the good guys is not any easier, the hometown school will be in the fight until the end, regardless of their record. The power of playing in front of mom and family is sometimes too hard to pass up. With that being said, I still think he makes the decision to be a Buckeye, but it’s not so cut and dry

Recruiting: Elite RB/WR prospect Wandale Robinson has Nebraska among final schools as decision looms

The traveling portion of Wandale Robinson's recruiting tour is over.

The consensus four-star athlete/running back and his parents have absorbed all they need to in advance of his Nov. 1 commitment date.

Reports surfaced last week that the 5-foot-9, 179-pound playmaker might make one more trip to Nebraska this weekend for the Bethune-Cookman game before making his final decision. But his father, Dale Robinson, told The World-Herald on Monday the family has decided the Western Hills (Frankfort, Kentucky) High School star will focus on his final regular-season home game this weekend.

Still, the elder Robinson said, that doesn't necessarily mean bad news for the Huskers. Wandale Robinson is now focusing on Nebraska, Kentucky and Ohio State along with Alabama, Purdue and Michigan as his finalists. He took official visits to each school except Kentucky — he was in Lincoln for the canceled Akron game — and was most recently at Ohio State on Oct. 6.

Meh, sometimes you guess wrong....lol

UK has played well this yr and has stayed in the conversation with the big boys. Something they cannot say they have done in yrs past to snag an in-state, elite athlete like Wandale. Good for him that he can stay home and hopefully have some success at UK. Would have really liked him in this class tho.
