James Quick (WR Louisville)

Maybe they were just reassurimg Quick he make the right choice to commit to tOSU? Or Quick said he still needs one last night to think about it, and they're getting in their last recruiting pitch. Herman tweeted hes about to board a flight to Texas, guess who is in Texas right now for an All-Star game tomorrow? Mr.Quick.

I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that Herman has been planning on going to Texas to hit the recruiting trail, unless that was sometime the past few weeks.

Trinity High School wide receiver James Quick is expected to put on a hat today in San Antonio, ending one of Jefferson County?s most closely watched football recruitments in years. University of Louisville fans are hoping it?s a U of L cap to signify the state?s Mr. Football is staying home.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Quick plans to choose between U of L and Ohio State at some point during NBC?s 1 p.m. EST telecast of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in the Alamodome.

Trinity defensive end Jason Hatcher, who has committed to Southern California, is with Quick on the East team, which is coached by Trinity?s Bob Beatty. Shamrocks offensive coordinator Andrew Coverdale is in charge of the East?s offense.

Quick?s father, Rhonyia, a former U of L football player, said in a Friday morning phone interview from San Antonio that he didn?t know what his son?s decision would be and that the family planned to talk it over Friday night.

?He?s the one who?s going to be doing all the talking,? he said. ?He?s the one who?s going to be making the decision. ... He can ask us questions. We (parents) like both schools, so there?s no one better than another.?
