Funny you mention this. One of the owners of my company is season ticket holder for FAU football (born and raised down here) and said he was going to get a jersey with Kiffin on it. I told him to get a 69 jersey and put Freshwater on it, then told him the details of why. I think he may actually do it.

Recruiting in Florida will be interesting with Strong, Kiffin, Fisher, Mac and Richt...all current/former coaches at big name schools and fair to say they all are pretty damn good recruiters(maybe aside from Mac)

Yeah, he is a good guy. When he cleaned his closets out a couple years ago, he gave my son some never worn NBA authentic vintage jerseys (i.e. Celtics: Bird). Plays a decent round of golf as well.

Single rich dude in South Florida (especially Boca)? He just got a huge f'ing pay raise coming from Tuscaloosa in the Freshwater category. Cougars or Kittens, he now has real options.

I think you forgot ol Butch Davis at FIU as well.... Only so many recruits to go around and then you still have OOS schools to contend with as well. My Miami fan buddy is trying to act confident, but if Richt had a rough time keeping GA kids in state while at UGA, this job will be every bit as tough. Jimbo has staked a large flag in SoFL

Cris Carter should still help with STA, I also think that OSU has made good enough inroads, where we'll be in the thick of almost any kid down there that we go after due to the Bosa's, Arnette, Grimes

Then goes and hires an OC with ties to a multiple rape scandal.
Freshwater really showing he's the same old guy with no moral compass and can't manage without a hardass keeping him in line.
I imagine this will be his last coaching gig. Can only go down in flames.
