Gene leaves at the end of the academic year.

Urban is a wildcard. He came off yesterday as a guy who was going to start putting feelers out right after this season.

If Drake goes early, it'll be his own choice due to this plus the wrestling shitstorm getting to him. If he chooses to stay, I think he'll stay long enough to kick off the next big campaign. That and cleaning up some of the mess in the med school will be his legacy.

He will get back with the team and his players and coach some games and get over it.

It’s like not having electricity- when it’s out you’re fucking pissed and going to write so many angry letters... and then the lights come back on and you immediately no longer give a shit.

Yeah, I think he likes winning too much. There aren't many places he could go where the situation could be better for W's. And if he is worried about this issue dogging him in recruiting, which is probably valid, that problem will follow him anywhere he goes. It might be slightly worse here, but that's just going to be a part of him for a while.
