I saw it "on demand" on a cable channel. It was a film made in 2000 about a high school kid working for the Rolling Stone and writing about a rock band (i.e. Stillwater) in the 70s. And YES they got to see their picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone:

watched that with the wife... both thought it was Ben Afflecks greatest performance ever.

It was the first time that he acted outside himself ever... seems to play himself, basically, in a lot of movies.

That said, I watched it on a flight... was free entertainment and I dig Anna Kendrick... a lot. So much so that I watched Table 19 on another flight recently. Kendrick is pretty much the only reason to sit through Table 19...

To us (both don't really like affleck) He seemed to act naturally ... it was great he didn't have a ton of dialog
