Watched the awful movie "Howard the Duck" for the first time since the early 90's, where Jeffrey Jones is a Dark Overlord and Lea Thompson kisses a duck.

Forgot that Howard wore an Ohio State University hoodie in the movie. Caught my eye and had a quick laugh.

I had DVRed it from HBO. About 10 minutes in I realized that I had seen it before. It had the same ending that I remembered....

FWIW, since the ending of Chapter 2 begged for a Chapter 3, I had to look it up:

John Wick: Chapter 3 is in development and is set to be released on May 17, 2019.

I really wouldn't have seen the movie; except I was in the Mill Run shopping area (west side of town) and had a couple hours to kill and this was the best choice of the movies offered. The movie was average, moved slow, no action, and got tired of the guy with the mustache (supposedly the world's best detective, Hercule Poirot) just looking for clues and interviewing everyone. This theater use to be the Mill Run Movie Tavern and now it is now the Movies 11 Dine-in. They have food/drink service in the theater. I like the concept, I used to go to a similiar place called Flickers years ago. Here's what it looks like, the name/owners have changed, but basically looks prety much the same:

There are two types of people in the world: People who like Kenneth Branagh films and people who don't. He's as divisive a filmmaker as the Coen Bros and Tarantino.

mother!

The absolute worst combination of self-indulgent overrated horseshit imaginable. The reviews like to say “you didn’t get it if you didn’t like it”...well fuck that, and fuck all those pretentious asshats. I got it, and what I got was a 2 hour hippopotamus abortion of a movie. And with that cast available, Aranovsky should no longer ever be allowed to make another movie. Ever. This film is 120 minutes of insulting your intelligence and stealing your money.

Been going to the movies a little more often than I have in the past since I signed up for MoviePass (1 movie a day for $10 a month, if you haven't heard). Recently saw Star Wars, Downsizing, Murder on the Orient Express and Father Figures. Out of those my favorite is probably Murder on the Orient Express. I've never read the book so I was pretty interested but I thought the end was a bit of a cop-out.
Hey there Mr. Spam-meister, you making bank doing Insurance Panda "real post" spam on news sites as well?

I don't know how me mentioning a service makes me any money, but you can keep believing that if you want. Just trying to tell people of a service if they are interested. And in order for it to be spam I would have to do it more than once. Not trying to be a jackass but try to get your internet lingo correct.
