David Cassidy moved to ICU as condition worsens

Cassidy was suffering from organ failure and was in need of a kidney transplant when he was admitted to a Florida hospital earlier this week. Now, the former teen heart-throb's son, Beau and his ex-wife, have been called to the hospital as the situation becomes more dire, according to TMZ.

The "Partridge Family" star is reportedly on a breathing tube.

"There's really no issue anymore for a transplant," a source said to TMZ. "It's futile."

Charles Manson, who led deranged followers known as the Manson Family into a series of horrific crimes that haunted Americans for over a generation, died Sunday at a California hospital after being imprisoned for more than 45 years. He was 83 years old.

Patricia Krenwinkel — Currently California's longest serving female prisoner, the 69-year-old has been denied parole 13 times. She took part in the murders of the LaBiancas and was part of the crew that broke into the rented home of Sharon Tate. Krenwinkel chased down coffee heiress Abigail Folger and stabbed her so many times cops thought her white nightgown was red. During her time behind bars she has been described as a model prisoner and has expressed remorse for her actions. "What I am today is not what I was at 19," Krenwinkel said in the 2014 documentary "My Life After Manson."

Leslie Van Houten — Like Krenwinkel, Van Houten has also been described as a model prisoner during her time behind bars. She was convicted of helping stab Rosemary LaBianca to death. California Gov. Jerry Brown overturned a parole board recommendation last year that she be released, with the governor saying she still posed an "unreasonable danger to society." This September, the board again granted her parole, starting a 150-day process that will likely culminate in a final decision by Brown, according to The Associated Press.

Neither one of these ever has any business being paroled. Any parole board member who recommends it can burn in hell beside Charlie & Atkins.

The Partridge Family was another "made for TV rock group" that was loosely based on The Cowsills. I liked the show and their songs. The Partrige mother (Shirley Jones) was actually David Cassidy's real life step mother.



Like Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show, David Cassidy was on the cover of the Rolling Stone.....:biggrin:
