The tweets regarding UC football started flowing in with a frenzy Monday night.

It was Latwan Anderson who caused the commotion.

Just before midnight, Anderson Tweeted the following:

I am #officially committed to the #UniversityOfCincinnati s/o to my bros @ShaqWash7 & @JGraves94 #TakeOver Coming Soon to a stadium near u!

So who exactly is Latwan Anderson?

Pertaining to football, Anderson was rated the No. 15 overall player by Rivals.com and second best safety in the nation before committing to Miami in March of 2010.

Anderson (Scott Shaw, Cleveland Plain Dealer)

Pertaining to track, he was ranked 12th in the nation in the indoor 55-meter dash with a time of 6.38 seconds at Cleveland Glenville. He was also state runner-up in the 2009 outdoor 200 meters and ran legs on the state champion 800-meter and fifth-place 400-meter relay teams.

Just because Latwan Anderson tweeted that he is committed to UC doesn?t necessarily mean that UC is committed to him. There are plenty of question marks regarding Anderson, beginning with the fact that he is not currently academically eligible to play football next year. He?s a long way from becoming part of the UC football program.

15. Miami ATH Latwan Anderson
Buzz: Anderson arrived at Miami intending to compete for the Hurricanes in football and track. But he left the football team in October 2010 because he was upset about his lack of playing time. Anderson had tried to land at Cincinnati, East Mississippi Community College and Hutchinson Community College before settling at Eastern Arizona College. This season he has nine tackles in four games and has not jump-started his career as everyone expected.
