LB Baron Browning (Denver Broncos)

Grant was weak to bad before raekwon arrived. Booker was ahead of baker before his injury. If they keep the same positions, I see meaningful but limited playing time for baron.

Now if Worley struggles inside? All bets are off as Baron might be their biggest guy right now and I don't think Booker would excel inside.

OSU hasn't seen a monster like this since Big Kat. Even big guys like Perry look forward like boys compared to their upperclassmen self. I can't imagine what Baron will look like in 3 years.

So what happens if Worley can't hold up in the middle? He seems a bit small for MLB. I imagine Booker goes to the bench and Worley gets his old spot back, right?

Worley seems plenty big to me. It's really about reading the offense, calling out plays for the defense, and reacting quickly.
Agreed and these are the reasons Browning may only play in spot duty.

They need to get ready for next year, as Worley graduates, Baker may be a top draft commodity and Booker is eligible as well. They probably return 0-1 LBs for 2018, with Lewis & Hill graduating and Hubbard probably declaring.

I think you're still forgetting some talented guys in the LB room(Conner, Hilliard and Borland can all play MLB), and 2 practices won't allow us to know about those guys just yet. And yeah, Brian Rolle wasn't the biggest guy in the world...

I used to scream at the TV to let Kwon play more as a frosh, he was better than Grant then IMHO. We have some talent at LB for sure. I am still high on K Jones too.
Agreed, Kwon deserved to play more, but I'm sure still had some growing pains at times. I'm also high on Jones, and if he can stay healthy I'm also a Fan of Justin Hilliard

My impression was that Mike D'Andrea was widely thought to be that kind of physically advanced inside presence out of high school.
that's fair. I'd agree but also add the following :

Mike was that ripped (possibly more so) and about the same size but I don't believe he was as rare of an athlete like Katz or Browning. Big Kat is in every final discussion of best Ohio HS footballer ever.

Baron does not look tapped out. You might wonder if he'll grow even larger but he's not maxed out yet. That's what's frightening, realizing that this is his before mickey physique, for the most part .

Either way it's great to be able to discuss this.

Mike was more of a gym warrior, able to do insane plyometric workouts. He just didn't have great football instincts.

I have to disagree. The conversation is very short when talking about the best LBs in OSU history.

Chris Spielman. End of discussion lol
