LB Curtis Grant (National Champion)

I will chip in my utmost thanks and praise to Curtis. He weathered the storm over the years and had a very good senior campaign
Agreed. He had some struggles in his first few years and many wrote him off and were ready to go as far as label him a bust, but he kept busting his ass and became a solid player as well as a team leader and mentor. Truly a solid Buckeye...

No doubt. It's one thing to not bitch and complain about losing playing time to an incoming super frosh but to actively be his biggest supporter the way Curtis did was awesome to see. You could genuinely tell that Curtis did all he could to help Raekwon. Think about that. Selfless acts like that helped him earn a NC and the respect of Buckeye Nation. It's been a long time since I have seen a player have such an arc to their playing career full of challenges like Curtis. He handled it with poise and the only thing I ever heard from the coaches about him was positive. That was so refreshing given the selfish antics of some collegiate players. Really impressed by this guy and something tells me that his college experience and they way he handled himself will really pay dividends later in life. GROWN ASS MAN.
