I am from the same area as Schwartz, and after watching him play a few times I really dont think he's a Big 10 football player. I could be wrong, because I have been wrong many times before, but I thought Guhn (sr. for Clyde this year) was by far a better prospect then Schwartz as a football player and he didn't get to many looks. I would love to see Eric have a huge summer, and a great senior year so college scouts would be after him, but he will need to do both to have any chance for playing for the scarlet and grey.

I to am from that area and i disagree with your assessment of Schwartz. I believe he was mainly used on defense and he and guhns defensive stats weren't even compareable . I do agree with you on the outlook of his senior year and with a new head coach I'm sure he will see the same action as guhn on offense if not more, he seems more of a natural running back instead of the standing straight up style, good luck to Schwartz and the fliers

I think some people are taking my first post regarding Eric the wrong way. I did fail to write that Eric is a very good football player, with a great work ethic. I just feel Eric has to have impressive showings during the summer, and a great senior year for big time programs to start calling. Although, Eric will have to adjust to a new system with a new coach coming in, I think he is mentally tough enough to do it. Once again, I do apologize. What kind of interest are colleges showing in Eric?

A couple of Eric's clips were against Greg Keyes from Bellevue (Kent State verbal). It's hard to question his speed, when he is making open field tackles against one of the fastest track runners in the state.
