This thing isn't over until he visits Minny and stands by OSU as his choice...

“I’m going to show Minnesota some respect. [Gopher defensive back] Dom Barber is a friend of mine and I want to get the chance to talk to him.

“Ohio State is my leader right now. I’m going to visit Minnesota this weekend and when I have things sorted out, I’ll make a decision.”

We need LB's and he seems to be a good one... I don't care how many stars he has, his stats show he is a player (not to mention being Mr. Football in his home state)... major coup if the Bucks can pull this off imo :biggrin:

Agreed- It still sounds very positive and my guess is that it will become official next week after his Minny visit. But for now we will take him off the BP commit list.

I really like this kid after reading his commitment story on BN: it sounds like he's more interested in developing as a LB than getting immediate PT, and it's great to get a top prospect from a state we don't usually go into (I know it's not signed-and-sealed yet, but his comments make it sound like he really wants to be a Buckeye, and I like that a lot!)

Kinda look like Romanowski in the face (only meant as a compliment to the football player that was Romo not the juice junkie)

Also, Dads pro wrestler and Moms a sprinter/hurdler and the kids Mr Minny in 2 sports!! Think about that for a moment and be in awe of great genetics and god given natural athletic talent.

Man I hope this comes to pass, this kid just oozes "Linebacker" to me, same vibe Spiels and Hawk give off.

Pretty sure I read somewhere he was voted "most likely to go pro" in Minny prep hockey. I assumed that was equivilant of Mr Football.

I hope we can finish out strong with Laurinaitis! OSU linebackers are top notch, and He could learn alot under the study of Hawk, Schlegel, Carpenter and D'Andrea.

he has the size of a bertuzzi (6ft 3, 245lbs)

on a few side notes the nhl has an official who is 6ft 9 plus skates, i cant think of his name but it will come to me.

maybe he came here bc he thought hawk was brett hull (i actually was at tuttle i believe wiht a girl and she flipped out cuz brett hull was there in a hat, only to be frosh lb aj hawk to her dissapointment)
