I saw Joe Burger play a couple weeks ago and was very impressed.

I would definitely offer him. 3.9 GPA. Looks like a player you can count on to do all the right things both on and off the field.

Great lateral movement especially when he is shedding blockers.
Great motor to!
He may be lacking in the speed department, but overall he will be a good inside linebacker at the next level.

They will find you "financial aid" I'm sure. Heck, I would take partial tuition at Harvard over a full ride to a MAC school every time

Depends how much debt you have after graduation. Partial Harvard tuition still can't be cheap. I know too many people who are slaves to their college loans.

cincinnati.com - La Salle linebacker Joe Burger to visit Buffalo this weekend

La Salle senior linebacker Joe Burger will take an official visit to Buffalo this weekend, according to La Salle coach Tom Grippa.

Burger, who is 6 feet 2 and 230 pounds, has preferred walk-on opportunities at Notre Dame and Ohio State, Grippa said today.

Burger was Division I first-team all-state and first-team all-district. He was the GCL South linebacker of the year. He led the Lancers with 103 tackles (60 solo), eight tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, one interception and five sacks.

(Correction: We originally reported Burger?s visit to Buffalo would be last weekend, but Grippa said it?s the weekend of Jan. 21).
