Contusive SC injuries can still be very serious...transection injuries are actually pretty rare. I hope it wasn’t compressive enough to damage the cord. Even a bruise can cause significant damage.

I've seen spinal contusion and spinal concussion "reported", which are different. So still early without any official word, so need to be careful about what someone from the Steelers told the players, then how they comprehended that, and then told a reporter, who in turn turned it into a "tweet report"
