I was reading the-ozone forum and there seems to be a lot of doubt about his ability to excel at LB in college. Is everyone on here still high on his potential?

That just means they assume he's going to FSU.

They are going off of one camp performance. People doubted Raekown as he approached his decision date too. I would take Teradja every day of the week. You need these kinds of players against Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Penn State, etc.

I will trust Urban's judgement too lol.

At that one camp, he ran something like a 5.02 40-yard dash. Either that's an aberration or he'll need to improve his speed by trimming down.

Perhaps. I don't think you can play MLB at a national title contender until you can't run a sub-5 40. I'm not a huge numbers guy but that would be a concern.

He's supposed to be a two down thumper. He is not a Raekwon, Laurinatis, Rolle type that can stay in for any package.

He looks bigger than 6'2" 225 lbs. He definitely is not a speedster but he brings the wood when he gets there.

Obviously the 40 time and him looking out of shape at the Nike camp has a lot to do with it. That said, looking at the event results, all the numbers were slow. Xavier Peters and Payton Wilson ran 4.82. Owen Pappoe and K'Vaughn Pope, who have been billed as ++ athletes at LB, ran 4.69 and 4.72. On the bright side, Teradja put up a decent shuttle time, had the 4th best powerball throw at the camp and finished with a 102.93 Nike+ (second to Pappoe amongst LBs at the camp), so it's not like this is a bad athlete. He just needs to get into shape. Plus, and most importantly, he's still got great film. Regardless of where he ends up, this is a talented player who has the potential to be a nice college MLB.

Regardless of 40 time he'll be fine at FSU. He'll fit their defense, or get recruited over just like if he were to become a Buckeye. Time to make some calls to Michael Harris and send an offer to Xavier Peters...

And this happens quite often, which is a good reason to look at how everyone else was running. Some of the camps with legit laser times, the fastest kid runs a sub 4.5. Terjada is great player and I would love to have him on board. I still think he goes to FSU but he is a talent.

Exactly! That's why we should not jump off the cliff because of that one incident. If he was that slow consistently, he would not have been rated that high, and our coaches would not have been so eager to get him on board.
