Learfield Directors' Cup (Formerly Sears Directors' Cup)

We will never win it if we never get bowling sanctioned by the NCAA. I would bet a lot of money that we have better bowlers then Stanford if they even have a team.

Ohio State would kick some Cardinal ass in competitive eating.

I once personally ate 50 wings at Hooters on Morse Road in Columbus (when it was still there). I ate a whole Catfish Biff's pizza when I was 19 (not a lot of food, but it tasted like dough).

I believe I read, after Track and Field finished this weekend, that Ohio State is more/less locked in the No. 2 ranking.

Regardless if the Buckeyes finish No. 2 or No. 3, this probably has been the most-productive Spring since I've been tracking Ohio State athletics (for donation purposes) since I graduated a long time ago.

I only record the sport if they finish Top 10 or Top 5 (depending on number of NCAA participating schools) and this Spring produced the most Top 10 or Top 5 finishing sports in my record. Good job by the coaches.

We dominated the Winter points total (with more to come from Men's Volleyball) with 639 points. Michigan was second at 477 and Stanford third at 454.5. Unfortunately, because we stink on ice during the Fall, it only bumps us up to 4th place in the year to date standings.

In the second set of spring Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup standings, Ohio State remains in the Top 10 in eighth place. Stanford leads the standings followed by Michigan, Virginia, Texas, USC, Penn State, Duke and the Buckeyes.
