Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Danny Ainge is working on trading the #1 overall pick to the Sixers for this year's #3 and next year's first rounder (among others).

I hope he's working on a deal to then unload picks for a star. Yeah, I'd love it to be LeBron. 8D

(No, I don't expect it so I'm not predicting it. I'm just saying I'd love it.)

Too bad he's stuck between wanting to win more titles and making the most money. Perhaps if the Cavs drafted better while he was gone those 2 things could happen, but I'm pretty sure they are now mutually exclusive. He could go to a winner for less money and have a chance to beat GS or stay with the Cavs or a team with salary cap space like the Lakers and lose in the playoffs. I keep seeing headlines about Paul George going to GS, but it just isn't possible unless they trade for him during the season or he takes the MLE next year. Even if the Lakers signed Lebron and PG I don't see them beating GS during what Lebron has left of his prime. The Cavs were pretty much cooked as soon as Durant went to GS so at least we got a title.

If I gave [Mark May] about the nba anymore, this would be pretty upsetting. But, the on-court product, insulting salaries, and off-court bull[Mark May] is so bad, that I cannot bring myself to get emotionally invested in the least. It's a relationship that's "beyond repair."
ALso if this is true... why on earth would you trade Kyrie for anything less than the motherload... if you know Lebron is gone you can't trade Kyrie

If you know LeBron is gone, why trade Kyrie at all? He wants to be on a team without LeBron, seems like that team could be Cleveland.

My very lukewarm sports take on LeBron- he's so at peace in life, fulfilling his Promise and winning a championship in Cleveland, being a father, being a role model, being an activist...I think he's just letting all the other conjecture fly by.

Not to say he isn't a killer on the court and still wants to be the best, but he's seemed to have grown so much to realize something bigger. The family vacations, raising his kids, raising NE Ohio to a better place, and the true friendships in the league are his priorities in life.

Everyone else can ride his every move, but I got nothing but love for how he has turned out and I think he's comfortable too. Good for him. Honestly.
