Does anyone else laugh everytime those come on. I swear everytime I turn to Espn they are on. I think it gets away from the norm of commercials with sports stars, who they usually just have playing ball and things like that, and they actually have him doing a little acting.

Very well thought out by nike IMO.

I totally agree with you.
I love them and everytime i see them i laugh.
I feel he does a pretty good job acting IMO.

The reason for that: LeBron has that once-in-a-generation "star quality" that transcends his play on the court. He has the charisma to pull off something like that - in the way that Jordan and Shaq did.

The commercials are great.

Everytime I see "kid" LeBron I just bust up laughing. It was interesting because reading a magazine a month ago they had the new ads in them explaining the personalities. Just classic!

But the reason they work is because of LeBron. He gets it. He is a pure entertainer and has a great sense of humor and he forces Nike and his other advertisers to bring that out in any commerical he is in.

Knick Tampering

there is a HUGE (3 or 4 floors high) LeBron sign a block from Madison Square Gardens... wonder if the Knicks had any influence on that... trying to put thoughts into LBJs head
