Just wanted to say thanks for opening a place for FOOTBALL talk and not speculation, rumors, biased opinions and bashing.

I just heard AC/DC - Hells Bells and the smile on my face was overwhelming - I can't wait to see the Bucks on the field this year.

Studs

I'm sure many of you watched the Kansas St. vs pathetic Cal yesterday. I don't know about any of you but I think that Cal has no Defense whatsoever and I don't think that Kansas St. has enough studs on D to even be in contention for the Big 12 crown, let alone the National Crown. They have some big studs out there, but, even some of those guys missed tackles.

I can't wait to see the Buckeye D in action just because I know every guy who steps out there HAS TO BE a stud. We just don't have 2 or 3 stud D-players. Just go down the list. Our backups and guys like Kerr and Schlegel- holy freak! Just stacked.

It's easy to imagine that our DBs might give up a big one or two but that's speculation. I have so much confidence that we'll bring pressure on the QB that any opposing QB won't have much more than 2.2 seconds to make a decision, 3.5 seconds max to get a ball off.

On offense, does anyone think we'll be whipping the ball through the air a bit more? I'd like to see some big plays.

brewtus88 & LightningRod, yes a Michigan poster had a couple posts nuked. Sorry for any confusion.

On the football topic, anyone a little concerned that we are without our starting Fullback to lead the way for Hall & Ross?. Anyone heard who will get the majority of reps at the FB spot?

Regarding the FB position, it looks as if a surprise from the D side of the ball will be getting some reps at FB. Also look for white to line up at the H back position. What I would really like to see is a 5 receiver, no huddle set. If the O line is truly mobile, this would definitely put Washington back on its heels. OSU moved the ball against Miami in OT out of this set. These kids have played together long enough to be able to go out of the no-huddle. From what I have read about Washington, its DB situation is not the best in the world. Open up their D, then pound them in the 2nd half.
