I cannot believe this move. I am not a Lions fan in anyway, but any fan of football that watches the Lions play realizes it is not the QB's or the coaches fault. As much as they want to put it on them, how bout the three big time recievers they drafted the last 3 years, they can't catch the ball and I thought their best reciever on thanskgiving was that guy by the name of vines.

This was obviously not a result of bad coaching.

Here's my favorite part:

Millen hired both Mariucci and his predecessor, Marty Mornhinweg, and drafted or signed most of the players currently on the Lions — and Detroit is an NFL-worst 20-55 since 2001. Millen, a former NFL linebacker and TV analyst was given a five-year extension before this season.

Hey, at least the Browns have a better record than these guys.

Millen's a dullard - no doubt about it. But don't let's be silly. Mariucci is not now, nor was he ever, a good coach. Hopefully for Lions fans this is just the beginning of a complete top-to-bottom overhaul.

Dre Bly was just interviewed by Rich Eisen on NFL Network and plainly said that JOEY was to blame for how bad the Lions were and that it was because of Joey that a great coach (Mooch) was fired. He also said that had Garcia not gotten hurt they would be a winning team right now.

He also said that watching Joey in practice the last three years has been bad.

Dre Bly is probably the ONE guy that I respect the most on this team.

Millen is staright up a very shitty gm. Mooch can be a good player if he was given a team with some actual talent in some areas including the O-line, Linebackers and especially qbs. The drafting for this team has been horrible the last couple of years. William Clay Ford is also a shitty owner, he honestly doesnt give a shit what the lions do. And everyone up here in michigan is a dumbfuck so they keep paying money to see this team get smoked every week for the last 5+ years
