I didn't say (well over a year ago) that their OL class would come in and dominate as freshmen. There is still 4 years before the verdict is out on that one. By that logic, let's go ahead and question the entire Buckeyes 2014 DB class. Also, it's not as if UFM pursued nearly every single OL commit scUM had that year...oh wait, he did.

Well I think it's clear at this point that one staff is really great at developing talent and coaching them while the other staff is not, and in fact, may not be there to see that class mature.

That horrific failure has to partly fall on Funk, their OL coach. Another part of it is that RR decided to basically ignore OL recruiting his last two years, and those are the guys they would be leaning on for production. Which is just another thing BP got right about the coach after RR. Still, they've pulled in a lot of highly rated kids on the OL in their last three classes, and thus far, they are just horrific players. Young, yes. But they shouldn't be THIS bad. I remember Georgia a few years ago having multiple OL go down to season ending injuries. By year's end, they were starting (I think) three freshman on their OL, and they were doing pretty well. I think it was when Knowshon Moreno was there.

I think part of it is talent development for sure but I moreso just mean that it is rare for a freshman OL to come in and dominate. It's rare to even be a solid OL really. When I made the post on LTT, I meant the 2013 class. However, looking back it does appear that the 2012 OL class was highly rated as well. In any event, can't wait for us to show them how a freshmen lineman can dominate in the form of Joey Bosa

Wasn't criticizing you; just noticing the irony.

Hope potential Michigan recruits are also able to notice, before they make a huge mistake.
