O-H.....
This position is overlooked by many. And most Ohio State fans probably didn't even know who Kyle Andrews was. Without him Ohio State could have been in some big problems. I can't remember any bad snaps he had during his career at Ohio State. With that said does anyone know of any other Long Snappers who will be competing for the job in 05'?

Everyone knew who Kyle Andrews was.... you can't be a long-snapper at Ohio State and expect no one to know who you are....

In fact, I think it would take more than 1 hand to count the # of posts dedicated just to him that I remember.

HAYN
I think that was his point...

The snapper and holder don't get nearly enough credit, but they sure do take alot of blame when things go wrong. Just ask that guy from the NY Giants from a few years ago.

I used to work out with a guy who was Kyle's coach at Middletown. He said that in high school he snapped the ball so hard that often the holder couldn't catch/handle the ball properly and they had to have him slow it down a bit. I guess he had the opportunity to go on a scholly at some small schools as an OL right away but always wanted to play for tOSU and was told he could earn a scholarship just for long snapping.

Houser is enjoying a nice, long career with the New Orleans 'Aints as a long-snapper, and Andrews should too. My question though is whether or not there are skill workouts at NFL combines that feature long-snapping? Sure, most of us know who Andrews is, but do NFL execs?
