Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

To them it’s not a big deal. Seriously. If anyone is used to a mass exodus of players, it’s Penn State. This is nothing. Just another day (although without “victims,” hopefully.)
According to them, these are all guys that Jimmy "4th and 5" Franklin recruited over. Just making room for all the 5*s he's going to sign next month. It's no problem at all to have 15-16 guys suddenly leave your program.

Nick Saban: I’m the most damn creative at making scholarship numbers work with casting off guys and getting new ones.

James Franklin: Hold my beer.

Ohio State appears to be on the shortlist for another transfer quarterback, and he's already made some waves in Buckeye news in the past.

Texas A&M quarterback Nick Starkel will enter the transfer portal and is considering Ohio State as a potential destination.

Starkel was a three-star prospect and the No. 21 pro style quarterback coming out of high school. He leaves Texas A&M after two seasons.

If you've heard that name before, it's likely due to an online spat between Starkel and former Ohio State quarterback and one-time Aggie commit Tate Martell after Starkel acquired and Tweeted a screenshot of a direct message conversation where Martell referred to him as "ass my dude."

Starkel's Tweet, which has since been deleted, was posted shortly after Martell decommitted from Texas A&M.

If he were to come to Ohio State, Starkel would add much needed depth to the quarterback position.

With the departure of Dwayne Haskins, Martell's transfer and Dwan Mathis' flip to Georgia, Ohio State currently has just three scholarship quarterbacks on the roster, and Justin Fields has not yet been granted eligibility for the 2019 season.

Call me old, but I have never strung together the words "he's ass my dude". Wait, I just did.

Odd that Tate tweets like your usual English butchering moron but uses apostrophes.

Or is that a spell check thing?

if i remember correctly it was from a bad translation from an early 90s japanese’s video game...
