Los Angeles Lakers (17x NBA Champions)

i am hoping the lakers don't choke the west away...i want them and boston in the finals

Sorry, top to bottom there's more than 2 good teams in the west. We're still doing well with 3 key players injured, I would love a chance to play Boston in the finals, but as it stands, the Spurs are still the team to beat.

Gasol is the guy that kept them in this game...

I won't argue that, we were really cold the entire game, but the Kings have had up to a 13 point lead and didn't close it out. These guys have a lot of momentum, we need the rest of the team to warm back up though. Bryant and Gasol can't be expected to win every game.

Yeah the lakers are going to have their hands full this month as it is a tough month of games on the slate for them...

Gasol is playing like a monster right now...

As excited as I am about Bynum's impending return, I am almost equally excited about Ariza. I really like what I saw out of him before he got injured, and love the skill set he is gonna bring to the table.

Dude, it's sounding more and more like Bynum might not make it back this year. He's in the pool, and the swelling was going down, but as he's started to rehab, it's gone back up so, keep your fingers crossed.

Aww shit. That would really suck. I realize that we are built for the future and all, but I would rather win now and in the future lol.

Cbf40, I haven't heard updated timetables for either of them. Hopefully soon.

Are there time tables for their returns?

The initial time table for Bynum was next week, but it's been stated that he's not rehabing as well has was hoped. The swelling hasn't gone down during his pool workouts, so if he does come back this season, odds are it will be during the playoffs.

Ariza is either the last week of the season or the first week of the Playoffs.
