Louisville v Miami.....

I need some Cane fan to remind me that Antrel Rolle is the nicest, most upstanding individual since Jesus. Every time they show him, he is talking crap with somebody

Haha 24-7, Louisville.

Re: #20 Louisville (4-0) at #4 Miami (4-0) predictions... <HR SIZE=1>Listen...

we are not going to blow this team out. We better be ready for a war. Winning this game would put Louisville on the map...it would be bigger than their win last year against FSU.

They are a team with a potent offense, a BIG OL, and a VERY GOOD D.

If we don't take this team seriously, we could very well lose this game.

We ought to be treating this as if we were playing FSU!

Being a practicing Lutheran I hate to rip you but....we will kill Louisville. I saw them against Army and thier O-line has issues. They better have the ambulance on hand whe our D-line shows up.

While they are good, the best team they have played is Kentucky. Their O-line is big? Jeez, isn't that what Nebraska always said? If Berlin plays well we will crush them.

Re: #20 Louisville (4-0) at #4 Miami (4-0) predictions... <HR SIZE=1>Both teams have that extra time to prepare and I'd say 10 points either way. If I'm wrong and you guys beat us convincingly I'll take my lumps.

BTW, our best O-lineman left today's game too, Renardo Foster. I hope the best for both him and Winston.

So what's your prediction "cards"? Do you think you'll move up and down the field all night? Or is the truth somewhere in-between? </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

but i am tired of boring football.....
Just curious, what are you willing to give up? If a more exciting brand of football was more costly to the win column (not that it has to be), and hence championships, which would you rather have?

Please note that I don't believe that more exciting offensive football is automatically going to cost a team wins, but we have all seen the inability of a more explosive offense (mid 90's) to yield championships.

Again, just curious if you or anyone else would give up championships for a more exciting brand of football.

i said earlier that the bucks won a natty title with ths style of play....

that type of play relied on the best defensive line in decades....the best secondary in decades....and the best kickers in decades....

the buckeyes are 4-3 over the last seven games...and they are losing by not trying to win....that is my point....

you cant tell me that louisville has a significant talent edge over the Ohio State ......

Of course the answer is no - every program is measured by championships.

Your statement seems to imply the more prolific an offense is - the less likely the team is to win a championship.

That is not true - those ideas do not have to be mutually exclusive to any degree.

'Mistake free opportunistic offense' does not have to equate to 'boring' and 'ineffective' which is what we have now.
