LS Liam McCullough (Atlanta Falcons)

He's been in team meetings and is enrolled. Just seems odd that this would happen after he reported with the other freshmen.
I think this is the norm. You want them to be as much a part of the team as possible, you just don't want them to become an official part of the class until the numbers drop after the season in January. That happens by not enrolling full time until then.

Nobody needs to be a full time student to participate in team activities right now. But when classes start in August you must and McCullough can no longer participate at that time.

Strange rules indeed. Although it always amazed me that we would consider having two long snappers on schollie at the same time. We commonly have none.

HOME GROWN: LIAM MCCULLOUGH OUT TO MAKE A NAME FOR WORTHINGTON KILBOURNE BY SNAPPING INTO CONSISTENCY

55105_h.jpg

Liam McCullough didn't really have a choice: He was born to be an Ohio State fan, whether he liked it or not.

"Growing up as a kid in Ohio, you're a Buckeye fan and everyone, well, most everyone in the community and at my school is a Buckeye fan," McCullough told Eleven Warriors May 19. "I have teachers that are crazy Ohio State fans."

Most everyone in the state of Ohio has some sort of allegiance to Ohio State, whether it be because they or part of their family attended one of the largest institutions in the country or anything else. Saturdays in the fall are typically reserved for Ohioans to breathe Scarlet and Gray.

McCullough, a somewhat forgotten member of Ohio State's 2015 recruiting class because of his position, hardly disputes this fact.

"It's been really cool because everyone talks about Ohio State football in Columbus, everyone," McCullough said. "That's always the topic of conversation and to get to be a part of that and kind of know that everything's going on with that, it's kind of cool."

Classes start today and Liam was at practice yesterday. So either Timmay! was talking out of his ass or we won't see McCullough again until January. Why would the staff greyshirt a player when they're already at the limit? Especially one who is expected to start next year?
