Anyone ever had them?

Yes, not very frequently, but times enough to remember. Probably one of the coolest experiences I've had without using something outside my body to create it. Alot of the time though, I'll have been sleeping and will begin to dream lucidly, but quickly slip out of my sleep and wake up. It really sucks because you know that your dream could have been cool as [censored], and you can pretty much do anything with no physical effects. Still haven't come to a conclusion on whether a dream is thoughts while sleeping or your brain trying to sequence together your nerves firing off, haven't studied either train of thought enough to decide, and haven't studied lucid dreams enough either to know exactly what makes them happen. Just know that I love the experience of dreaming.

In general, I am a pretty active participant in my dreams. It does cause me to wake up a lot. However, because I am lucid dreaming anyway, that doesn't really bother me as I can rearrange the dream in my still semi-conscious mind and go right back to it.

Sometimes as I fall asleep I ask myself a question or think of something that I need to try to understand better and it becomes a lucid dream sequence. That's always interesting. It has brought many an new point of view to my own head upon awakening.

I find that when I use an electric blanket I have a lot of dreams. Multiple dreams a night. I have also found if you "program" your last waking thought you can effect your dreams. I tell myself "this is just a dream and I am in charge of it."(seems to work)
