Northwestern is making its move in the class of 2013 recruiting. One players the Wildcats have targeted is junior quarterback Malik Zaire of Archbishop Alter (OH) High School. Check out the highlights from Zaire's junior season.

OSU and Wisconsin stand out...talks about how he could fit in OSU's offense and modeling his game after Braxton...talks about what an intense recruiter UFM is.

VERY well spoken young man...he is going to be fun to root for no matter where he ends up...

Unfortunately, my exposure to Malik has only been on the opposing sideline as an assistant for Fairmont(Kettering's public HS). He is a man among boys. I compare him a lot to Braxton simply by his body movement and makeup. Very smooth, makes insane plays look easy. Wherever he ends up, he will be great.

I've been on that side of the field with you... My kids are in the Fairmont school system.

And agree with your observations...

Good to see a fellow Firebird around. I help with the offensive line. You sending any kids my way?

My oldest is only in 4th grade... He's a Soccer/Basketball/Baseball kid.

I would love to see Domsitz open it up a little more this year and let Malik chuck it. Sort of like he did Boucher's Sr. season...

Still excited about him being a southpaw. Has there ever been a left handed QB at Ohio State?

How could you forget him???

My only worry for Malik is his size... I hope he can start to put on some weight like Brax did. He's definitely a blast to watch though...

My interest in Ohio State started in 2002 as a wide-eyed student in college. Honestly don't know who that is.
