    Two Marshall players arrested early Sunday
    HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Two Marshall football players have been jailed on charges stemming from alleged altercation at a bar early Sunday morning.
    Quarterback Bernard Morris, a redshirt freshman, and defensive lineman Roger Garrett were being held at Western Regional Jail Monday, a jail official said.

    Morris was being held on a $20,000 bond for a charge of malicious assault, while Garret was being held on a $5,000 bond for a charge of assault by threat, Officer J. Newman said.

    "The situation is currently under investigation," Marshall coach Bob Pruett said in a statement. "Both players involved will not participate in the game next week."

    The team was still gathering information about what happened, Pruett said. No further details were available from the school.

    According to the police report, the two players were arrested near the off-campus GoodFellas bar after getting into an altercation with a woman, WSAZ-TV reported.

    GoodFellas manager Rus Livingood declined to comment to The Associated Press.

    It wasn't the first time Garrett has been arrested this season. The sophomore was charged with malicious wounding after an Aug. 22 fight outside a bar involving an Ohio State player.

    Ohio State defensive end Redgie Arden suffered a broken nose and other facial injuries in that fight.

    yeah- The bit lip move or whatever he's doing with his face is pretty funny.

    His actual Kicking motion I beleive was emulated by Samir's kicking on the Fax Machine in Office Space. A lasting and appropriate tribute.

    I can't believe the author forgot to say Arden has two previous DUI's!

    I watched the Marshal game again the other day and just laughed when the announcer made a comment about Marshall having a mission for educating the youths in their area and kids needing a second chance. I would be offended if I graduated from Marshall, then again, I probably wouldn't own a computer if I graduated from Marshall.

    What do you expect from a 'second chance school' (AHAHAHAHAHAA) as I forget which dull color man inadequately described it. What he meant to say was 'Are you big, fast, and angry? Do you have a criminal record and no D1 school with an ounce of respect will take you? MARSHALL WILL!'
