Marvel Cinematic Universe

Cedar Rapids.

There's nothing wrong with being a damn good character actor.

It's why I love me some Danny McBride. I can't do him in a leading role (East Bound and Down) but give him a supporting role with the opportunity to just be as wild and as vulgar as possible and the dude cracks me up. I would LOVE to see him in a MCU film as that random tagalong like Kat Dennings in the Thor movies.

This should be win/win for Marvel and Sony. I'm guessing it's too soon for more than a cameo in Civil War, but it will be game on for the next 2 Avengers.

I dunnno, rumors are he could show up for Cap 3..I think they are starting production here soon

here you go

According to the Wall Street Journal (via Coming Soon), Spider-Man will be introduced to the Marvel movie-verse in time for the third Captain America film, which follows the events of the Marvel Comics event, Civil War. As per the paper, "The two companies said late Monday that Spider-Man will appear in an upcoming Disney-produced Marvel super-heroes movie; that movie is 2016’s 'Captain America: Civil War,' according to a person with knowledge of the matter."

I got a text the other day 'Dude, you need to go watch DareDevil on Netflix, NOW'.

Two episodes in, this show such an unexpected surprise. When I heard the announcement on development I brushed it aside thinking it would be terrible. I was very wrong.
Especially for a show set in the post Avengers era. DareDevil, along with Spawn, Deadpool and Batman have always been some of my favorites. So far, this series has brought a darker tone to things (as DareDevil was)
and done some good justice to the character.

Do yourself a favor and go check it out.

I noticed it's rated TV-MA. Is there any reason why? I watched the first episode trying to determine if it was okay for my soon to be 13 year old. Nothing in that episode led me to believe she couldn't watch it. Anything coming up that may be too much for a 7th grader?

Scooter - I have made it through ten episodes and my 14-year old has watched some. There are some scenes that warrant the TV-MA rating. There is one scene I won't say much about it but it is a "vehicular homicide" that my son, avid Call of Duty player, cringed while watching.
