Showing that espn is secretly coaching and has preference to their major contract conferences.

Meh. I don't think so. It's not a secret when everyone knows it.

And the part I was talking about - where you lost me - I meant that it appeared that you were implying that ESPN had some kind of credibility (sports reporting or otherwise) to begin with. Haven't they proven over and over that they don't?

They have to you and me. They have to big ten schools. I would bet that most of the country wouldn't even bother to think of espn as leaning one way or the other as they.

A very scary article - not because Maryland could lose the suit, but for what it says about revenue sports and universities. I am growing more and more convinced that this is an unholy alliance; that control is being taken from academics and placed in the hands of commerce.

Umm.....The bolded has happened already. BTN, ESPiN, SEC Network, Longhorn Network, etc.

Maryland already thinking about new trophy games in Big Ten

If there is one thing the Big Ten has plenty of, it is trophy games. The conference is home to 12 trophy games and that number could be on the rise as two new members join the conference starting tomorrow (July 1). Maryland and Rutgers will join the Big Ten, which should lead to some new rivalries within the conference over the course of time. Both new Big Ten members will have a close regional rival with Penn State, and the two will likely develop a rivalry between each other as well.

.
If anything, I would like to formally propose if Maryland beats Ohio State and Illinois in the same season, then the Terps gain control of the Illibuck until either team defeats them.

Notice the irishman confusing the turtle for a sheep.
Or a wheelbarrow - God made the wheelbarrow to teach the Irish how to walk upright.

But just WTF is that creature wearing the FSU jersey and what is it supposed to be representing, Tonto's horse?

And after further inspection - which team is represented by the orange, one-eyed trouser mouse with his hand on the Irishman's hat???
