Maryland WR Stefon Diggs (official thread)

With Tressel I would have agreed, honestly with Meyer at the helm I can rest easy that IF there is a chance, he has exhausted all options before giving up... "everything but the kitchen sink" has new meaning to Buckeye Nation.

Fully agree! Recruiting will be far different now. No longer will we settle for the first good kids to commit. The bar will be set extremely high now, we should expect to get every player we go after from here on out. I honestly want caleb, Jones and diggs, we will be recruiting like a video game level now

I always love the term "silent verbal? What the does that really mean anyway...other than the kid hasn't made up his mind. Here is hoping that Stefon wants to come here because of what we have to offer and he doesn't have to be "silent" about it.

The fact that Diggs is considering pushing his decision beyond NLOID could benefit Ohio State since it will give Meyer more time on the recruiting trail.

First things first though, let's just get him on campus in January and go from there.

Free 24/7 - Five Star Diggs recaps Cal trip

Justin Hopkins

Olney (Md.) Good Counsel athlete Stefon Diggs took his first official visit earlier this month when he tripped out to Cal. The five-star prep has an offer sheet a mile long but keeps things close to the vest in terms of his recruitment.

Florida, Auburn, Ohio State and Michigan remain high on his interest board along with a few others. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound speedster doesn't have any other confirmed visit plans at this time.

Hmm Scout doesn't have Ohio State listed at all among schools of interest, and rivals has us under "low interest" for Stefon.

So if he really has a high interest in us why on earth does neither site have any notice at all of it?

They might just be late updating. We'll know soon enough if Stefon carries through with the tentatively planned January visit. If you get him on campus, anything can happen.

After missing out on Jones, Diggs may be at the top of my list for the remainder of the 2012's. The kid is electric & hopefully he shows up on campus. I want that "Percy Harvin" in our offense.
