Yeah DA was good for one year and yes it's not like he had a ton to work with in Cleveland, but still, that's gotta hurt.....

He had plenty to work with in 07 & the next season

True DA can throw the long ball and unlike Braylon , Fitz will go up and catch it more times than not. But he's still horrible at any other throw and his football IQ is still poor.

DA had 1/2 a good year until teams figured out he couldnt complete a pass under 20 yards. He had plenty to work with going against one of the easiest passing schedules in the league that year. Winslow and Edwards caught passes they would never catch again. Super Joe converted so many 3rd and longs it was insane.

Then, with the playoffs in the balance DA played like the DA we all know and love. Cinci and Baltimore picked him off like 7 times in two games.

Cards are screwed one way or another. Probably a good thing they didnt give Q the money he wanted or they would have had two max contract guys at a position that isnt going to matter.

Out of the QBs that busted, Matty probably landed in the best position. Schaub played the entire year which is rare. He is almost guaranteed to miss some games.

Yeah, except that Matt Leinart is now a third-string QB. He's behind Orlovsky on the depth chart (probably more due to not know the offense than anything, but still). Leinart is making $600k and has escalators in his contract that pay him more for being called the backup QB for games.

So he's probably not going to play unless Schaub and Orlovsky go down.

It's obvious no one remebers DA's pro-bowl season. The guy didn't always suck. Maybe he can recpature some of what he had.

I remember it. <57% and 19 picks sucks and that was as good as he'll ever play. He fucking sucks. I saw it at Oregon State and I still see it in the NFL.

That's ok though - he's never been on the cover of eSPIN magazine in a hot tub with skanks as if he's Joe Montana or something.

And DA is still on the roster while Leinart can play captain checkdown in Houston.
