Just got done watching this kid's film... definitely deserves a bump in the recruiting forum. Maurice could be a serious playmaker for us, either as a RB or a Pivot. Has elite balance on film, nice wheels, good jukes, great hands. A guy that you have to wrap when tackling, because he's not going to go down otherwise and will continue gaining yards on ya.

Great offer. As a Cali guy, hoping Woodbey gets in his ear about the Buckeyes

I can't quit watching his video. It is just stupid. I want to know what moron has him a 4 star. He will have offers from every big school. Stupid good.

Yeah, no kidding. When I first saw his highlights I just assumed he would be a consensus 5 star and a top-5 player in California. I saw where he was ranked today and just laughed. He looks like a future Heisman contender on film.

More than his football skills, I loved hearing him speak and how articulate he was. Very sad story about his father(and I can relate as I lost my father to cancer at an early as well), but has great perseverance. His film looms very good, and maybe his 4star ranking is due to competition level, just guessing. But his style also reminds me of Jaelin Gill, tbh. Both rangy HB/pivot type RBs that can play in the pass and run game. Neither do you pass on if you can get them because both can fit alongside Snead

Second play of the highlight, he lines up wide, ball is snapped and he stands there waiting for the pass for like 5 seconds with no defensive attention whatsoever. That school fired their DC immediately after the game, I assume.

Have not heard this kid mentioned in forever. I'm sure his spot was filled by Jaelin Gill a while ago
I wouldn't be completely rule him out at the moment, the kid is a versitile athlete. We haven't seen any film since his sophmore year where he looks phenomenal. With academic and character questions aside if this kid continues to grow and mature, his skill set could allow him to play RB/Pivot/WR. With no receivers aside from Gill in the pivot, an improved skill set could move him into the category of bring him in as a Ath/WR and figure it out later like a Brendon White or Rashod Berry.
