ok, i'll backup Highstreet, he is definitely much MORE un-biased and national with this list, but the TX bias is still incredibly obvious..........he's given a lot more attention to Florida than other lists I've seen, and the LA obsession is still there, although not as bad as i've seen it..........but the point remains he has the same number of CA players as LA players, who's going to argue that there is more talent in any given year in LA than CA?........he always gives some love to Ohio too........but overall there is good representation, except for the lack of attention to California, so i guess he's not a COMPLETE joke...........if you do the math 30% of the top football players in the country are in TX/LA

TX - 26
FL - 20
LA - 12
CA - 12
OH - 8

I enjoy Max's site, I've seen someone post the per capita Division I talent per state, TX & LA are both in the top 5 so he isn't too far off.

Every guru has a slight lean to the region of the country they are in, it's only natural due to proximity/publicity...

By the way, whatever happened to Mike Bakas, the Florida guy. That guy was very unbiased and gave OSU props. He was dead on nuts on some of his talent evaluations...
