Anyone who watched Gameday this morning saw the exchange between Herbie and May, especially over Notre Dame.

All I have to say is Herbie is making May look like the idiot he is. Herbie is also showing he is by far the most educated and knowledgable individual on the show.

Does it seem to any of you that ESPN for some reason is intentionally putting these two up against each other? Today they had them both on split screen which was classic. May had the shit eatin grin on his face and Herbie had the look of "why does this have a job here and why do I have to talk to him?". Just seems like ESPN likes the debate and is encouraging it. I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong. They need to fire May.

Sorry if all this has already been said before.

May is the biggest dumbass on espn, and thats saying alot, herbie is making him look like an idiot, even more of an idiot now than when he always has the shit eating grin on his face. Who did he pick to win the big east??? ohhh yeahh he picked Pitt, nice pick dumbass.

I think you have a good read. ESPN thrives on controversey - even if they have to manufacture it. I have to include my self in this demographic, but the average sports fan digs that shit.

Actually, I am not including myslef in that group. BP does not contain the average sports fan and the informed and intelligent folks who post on this site are not their target demographic.

That's the most classic part of it. May said ND would be lucky to 1-5 after their first 6 games. Herbie said they would be 4-2 and explained why. May got that look on his face and tried to make Herbie look like an idiot buy bringing up last years stats. I loved when Herbie said the "the key thing you said was last year, they now have a new head coach and a new Defensive cordinator......."

Chalk another one up for Kirk. I just hope these idiotic picks get May off the screen. I'm sick of seeing him and hearing his voice. Desmond Howard would 50 times better than may and that's saying alot.

does anyone notice that anytime theres an arguement between anyone and may he always brings up something from last year? christ almighty, he needs to realize that yes it is possible that a team he doesnt pick can improve themselves, even with a new coach or coaches.

During the Auburn-GTech game, they posted a window talking to Mark May about the halftime show. They asked May how he felt about Weis now and he had a nice hot serving of crow in his mouth saying, "I gess I believe in Weis now." HA! Serves the fucker right.

Put simply, Mark May is a festering hemorrhoid on the ass end of life. His tall glass of stupid-fuck analysis got dumped in the sink today when his beloved Panthers got buttreamed with a strap-on crowbar by the Irish. I wish I could credit Herbie for making him look like the silly fuck he is, but quite frankly anyone with an IQ greater than the length of a millipede's dick could do that easily.

OK, vent over

Mark May was getting pissed, it looked like he was going to have a fit because herbie didn't agree with him.

i thought corso was going to explode when Herbie said ND would score 30ppg and be 4-2 after the first 6 games
