Mermaids: Bodies Found (Discovery Channel)

It's weird sure, but not that weird.
i'd say a six-inch humanoid that lived for about six to eight years and walked upright is pretty freakin' weird. scour the internet for human mutations. good luck finding anything close to about six inches tall that walked and lived for so long.

as i stated, there are human anomalies and then there is this. right now, it's in a class of its own. in time, i'm sure scientists will learn more and provide much more depth.

I will say the first time I watched the show (last year) I was a believer because I thought that the video footage was a reenactment using CGI, not the actual "footage" that they claimed. After watching the other night and having them say it's the actual footage I finally came to my senses. My friend, on the other hand, today was talking about how amazing the footage is. It clearly looks like something created for a video game. The audio they got, the "bloop", is odd to me and there could very well be something out there like it. I'm a firm believer in ghosts and a believer in bigfoot (just for the fun of it) and I believe that maybe a mermaid type animal could be out there in deep ocean depths.

Try? They just did. Said they found parts of a humanish skull with an "echolocation chamber".

It was an ultra low frequency signal that lasted over a minute long & was detected by hydrophones thousands of miles away. For a living creature to generate that noise it would need to be much larger than a blue whale.

Did they also claim that the Vela Incident was a weapon's test by the merpeople?

If they insist on broadcasting ridiculous stories they should at least some level of plausibility. The Bloop was clearly Great Cthulhu mumbling in his sleep.

FYI, Mermaids really aren't real:

http://www.slate.com/articles/healt..._s_fake_documentaries_misrepresent_ocean.html

This week, Animal Planet aired two fake documentaries claiming to show scientific evidence of mermaids. I say "fake documentaries" because that's exactly what "The Body Found" and "The New Evidence" are. The "scientists" interviewed in the show are actors, and there's a brief disclaimer during the end credits. However, the Twitter conversation surrounding the show reveals that many viewers are unaware that the show isn?t real.

Good grief. I thought everyone knew mermaids are misidentified selkies.

Uggh, well, you've never been in my kid's room, obviously.

Oh, they're fucking real alright.

(And when the damned poltergeist comes to my house and animates them, its gonna be me, and the dog and a machete... hopelessly outnumbered.)

Undine! thou fair and lovely sprite,
Since first from out an ancient lay
I saw gleam forth thy fitful light,
How hast thou sung my cares away!

How hast thou nestled next my heart,
And gently offered to impart
Thy sorrows to my listening ear,
Like a half-shy, half-trusting child,
The while my lute, in wood-notes wild,
Thine accents echoed far and near!

Then many a youth I won to muse
With love on thy mysterious ways,
With many a fair one to peruse
The legend of thy wondrous days.

And now both dame and youth would fain
List to my tale yet once again;
Nay, sweet Undine, be not afraid!
Enter their halls with footsteps light,
Greet courteously each noble knight,
But fondly every German maid.

And should they ask concerning me,
Oh, say, "He is a cavalier,
Who truly serves and valiantly,
In tourney and festivity,
With lute and sword, each lady fair!"

So, you're saying that 12 gauge/AR thing-a-ma-bob you test drove was no good?

Dunno if a Benelli can cycle fast enough is all.

Imagine this... only a shit ton more, and mostly mermaids... coming... after you:
