Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

We're joking about this shit, but just to slap everyone in the face with the fact that truth, often, is stanger than fiction:

This shit's about to get real good.

(Pretend for a minute I don't abhor the U)

Former players should have very little say in who gets hired-unless, of course, they graduated. The longer I think about this the more I like Butch Davis for the job. He can at least come in and improve the situation, and leave it in a better place in a few years. Who else are they going to get for that kind of money?

Butch doesn't have the greatest track record for leaving things better than he found them

Am evisioning all of the outspoken former players getting coaching gigs in some regard with the team. Also seeing them completely mess things up, which suits us all because then nobody will have anything to complain about when they fail.
They're all too busy filming documentaries about how good they were while they were cheating.

Please don't run weather smack. In the last half of autumn, winter and first half of spring it is great. The rest of the year it's an oppressive, humid, mosquito factory that should be turned into a penal colony.
Yep. May-September in Florida sucks, unless you like Apocalypse Now tropical heat and Biblical thunderstorms.
