Michelle Wie - various topics

More problems for the dumb bitch

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP)?Michelle Wie finished the third round of the State Farm Classic alone in second on Saturday?then was disqualified for failing to immediately sign her scorecard a day earlier.

Wie was playing her best golf of the year, finishing off a 5-under 67 to get to 17 under for the tournament, one stroke back of Yani Tseng.

That?s when Wie was disqualified by LPGA officials, who said they?d learned during play Saturday from tournament volunteers about the 18-year-old?s mistake.

?I don?t know why or how it happened,? said Wie, who had been crying :slappy: :slappy: moments earlier. She took no questions before leaving the clubhouse at Panther Creek Country Club.

at least she is playing well again.

not signing your card is unbelievable. the rules are the same at every tournamet from age 5 on up. you can't leave the tent until you sign your card. it's kinda crappy, though, that the person working the tent let them leave. you usually don't leave the tent until they tell you everything is good.

Missed the cut at PGA event - had a solid 73 on her first round, but couldn't keep it up on the second. She scored a 9 on a par 4 today. That's a quintuple bogey, for those of you keeping track at home. Ouch.

Hopefully she concentrates on playing solid golf on the LPGA.
