Michigan Chatter - 2004

daddyphatsacs

Let the cards fall...
It's 12:55 and we are getting reports that have now been confirmed, Michigan officially sucks. Studies were being ran at The Ohio State University by professor Dirk Blaxter all week and just moments ago Mr. Blaxter emerged to say "We are absolutely amazed by the results from our recent study. We took samples from Michigan Jersey's, Michigan ghetto gear (had to travel to a Detroit footlocker for that one), and snipped a few strands of hair from a local in Ann Arbor (who was playing basketball at the time),

which we took an action photo just to prove . Our studies have confirmed the long time beliefs by Ohio State fans across the country. Actually the really amazing thing is the readings that we discovered. Michigan sucks so bad that they could possibly put every whore in the city of Detroit out of business by the end of 2005. "

On a second note, Michigan coach Lloyd Carr has been released from the University of Michigan hospital this evening. We are being told that Carr had to get 23 stiches in his head, this was caused from a weird spill in the shower after practice today. Reports from Michigan are blaming the "extra lathering" that was going on in the showers between Carr and his players. When asked to comment Carr stated that this kind of action will really help develop "team chemistry".

Stay tuned for more on the Michigan story, we had to head south to the Ohio border to catch our breath, but will venture back to Ann Arbor for the latest on Lloyd Carr.

Stay tuned for the latest

Injury situation for next week?

I know it's a little early, but I was wondering if people knew the status of Fox and Salley for next week. I know Whitner is out for the year, but damn, if we don't have Fox, we're gonna have a very hard time beating scum.

imo Underwood, by far, is the biggest disappointment this season. I cringe at the thought of him or Harlan covering Avant/Breaston.

this may sound crazy... but if I were Tressel, I would seriously consider letting Ginn go man-to-man on Edwards... and rolling the dice on my best athlete being better than their best athlete... am I worse off than I am right now?

I'm with you on Underwood. I guess you could say he was responsible for a 14 point swing today. He dropped the int which probably would have went for 7 and then busted his coverage (jumped the pattern) and was beat for 7. Add to that the CB blitz where he failed to sack Orton and it adds up to a poor game. He was supposed to have a breakout year and instead lost his spot to Youboty. I don't think he is a bad CB normally, but I do think right now he is very average which isn't what we have been hearing his potential is.
