I was talking about Mike with stxbuck after the Fairmont-Alter game last year, which was the first that I had seen him play. He looks to be a very good back in college... Really good burst, patient runner, picks the holes then explodes... I really like him a lot...

By GP... Shaw picked up an offer from Penn St. Tennessee, West Virginia, Nebraska, Iowa, Cincinnati, Maryland, Illinois, Akron, Toledo, Eastern Michigan, and Miami (Oh) have also offered.

The PSU offer is a big one for Michael... From talking with stxbuck, it's one that he has wanted...

That's great to see him get all of these high profile offers. He deserves them with all the hard work he has put in. I couldn't go to a combine or camp last year without seeing Mike there. Whoever gets him will be getting quite the player.

congrats to Mike on the UM offer!

I think they are offering him as a DB, but hey you never know. Mike Hart was suppose to be a DB according to Tom Lemming, and he was just an after-thought to many fans while Max Martin was the hot-shot wunderkid recruit from Alabama that was suppose to be the next Chris Perry.

Good luck to Mr. Shaw, and if he picks UM great! I always love to get them Ohio boys because they just know how to play football. Seems like every single one we've gotten except the brothers Massey have been good or even great players for us.

I've been saying this for awhile, UM needs to get more Ohio kids like they used to. I'd like to see UM land anywhere from 4-8 Ohio kids in every class.

It's been hard with how much tOSU has locked down the borders... You guys are benefiting this year from us having limited scholarships to give in a year with some really quality in-state talent...

Talk about stock skyrocketing.

It will be very interesting to see where it goes once the upcoming season takes off. Anytime someone's status shoots up this fast out of nowhere (not completely, but wow) it's fun to see how it adjusts once the senior season rolls around.

Still don't think there's a chance we offer, especially if he's a RB all the way. Not with Devoe in the fold.
