I cashed that one (barely) myself. Theonly reason it was close was Tulsa TO's

Sparty offense is, once again, the depths of Tresselball hell. It's like 2003 on a loop with a head coach that thinks it's the best way to play.

At least Tress changed it up during the TS years. Dantonio seems to want to make zero effort in recruiting or staff changes to have a competent offense.

You cannot consistently compete with the big boys of CFB in this day and age with just a good defense. They'll pull off one of their voodoo magic upsets here and there (usually involves the worst weather of the year) but they'll also be in too many close games with too many mediocre teams to make a run at a championship except for once every 4-5 years.

Just can't turn every game into a coin flip and expect to win them all.
