Long time Dantonio Assistant off to FSU to be the DC

Michigan State promotes Mike Tressel to DC, adds ex-Kent State HC as DBs coach
Mark Dantonio looked inside and out of his football program to fill some holes in his Michigan State staff.
Nearly two weeks ago, Harlon Barnett left as MSU’s co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach to take a job at Florida State. That left Dantonio with two openings, one of which the head coach closed Friday by promoting Mike Tressel to defensive coordinator.
“Mike has done a tremendous job working with the defense,” said Dantonio in a statement. “He’s been deeply involved with everything with the defense since we first arrived here, and has helped coach some championship defenses that have been ranked consistently among the best in the nation, year in and year out. He did a great job as co-coordinator the past three years. He’s certainly earned this opportunity and I think he’ll do an outstanding job.”
To replace Barnett as defensive backs coach, Dantonio turned to Paul Haynes. The past five years, Haynes was the head coach at Kent State before being dismissed at the end of the 2017 regular season.

Poor baby. Mr. Nassar was "manipulated" He also "never belonged to any dark web porn sites, and may never have actually viewed all the porn in his possession."
OMG, and at this moment, the judge asked him if he wants to withdraw his plea. He said no, but wouldn't directly reply he was guilty as charged. In fact, when she asked him to say he was guilty as expressed in his plea, there was a noticeably looonnng pause.
Just Wow. All this, after Nassar read a whiny statement saying he was sorry.
Wonder how heavy she's gonna come down with the sentencing. (sarcasm font required.)
She says the letter demonstrates he doesn't get it, isn't actually repentant.
"I wouldn't send my dogs to you, sir."
She's saying there should be a massive investigation.
"You could have gone anywhere in the world to be treated. But you decided to not address what's inside you...what makes you a sexual predator...Calculated, devious, despicable...You can't give your victim back her life when she took it...It is my honor and privilege to sentence you...You do not deserve to walk outside of a prison again. Anywhere you walk, destruction will occur...I'm giving you 175 years."

I didn't follow the case all that closely, but did I see something a week or so ago that he told the judge that he wasn't sure how much more of the girls' testimony he could take?
