Mike Leach (HC Mississippi State, a National Treasure, R.I.P.)

Was kind of half listening but a report during the UGA-TAMU game said something along the lines of "the player was kept in a dark equipment/electrical (don't remember which) closet alone for several hours"

Wow...... harsh, even for a crazy ass pirate fanatic.

But, is the player a cat? He can't just, ya know, open the door and leave?

In all seriousness, what Woody Hayes frequently did would make this action by Leach look very, very tame.

Applying today's standards to yesteryear is a weak argument. We used to put players with concussions on the field, too, because no one thought it was a problem.

Taking a potshot at Woody about 25 years after his death, apparently to somehow justify Leach's actions, is beyond weak.
