He got fired for sexual harassment. The prior complaints were for apparently for gender-based discrimination.

Mike Ellis takes leave after complaints discovered during Teague investigation
Minnesota associate athletic director Mike Ellis has taken voluntary leave after five anonymous complaints against him were uncovered during an independent investigation of sexual harassment and discrimination in the athletic department.
That investigation resulted in the resignation last month of athletic director Norwood Teague, who faced accusations of sexual harassment. Teague was hired at Minnesota from VCU in 2012 and brought Ellis with him.
Ellis' leave was announced by the school Thursday.
The investigation into the allegations against Teague revealed a 2013 complaint against Ellis. That complaint, according to the Star Tribune newspaper, was tied to an incident that involved "pornographic images" on Ellis' phone that were shown to Teague and others during a bowl game in 2012. The complaint was investigated and closed without Ellis being disciplined, according to the school.

hell, if they wouldn't have committed turnovers, they could have won handily. They have a good O-Line and a good secondary.

First game, against a decent opponent and on the road, so I'll give TCU a bit of leeway. If, however, they don't show dramatic improvement next week, I don't see them as anything close to a playoff team.

Or tcu has an undersized d line. Yes. That's what I'm going with. Minny is about right where the 5th best team in the big ten should be talent wise.

There will be because they don't play anyone that is minny caliber for at least 2 months.

Except Minny is, at best, the 7th best team in the B1G (OSU, MSU, Wisky, Nebraska, Pedsters, scUM)....

Maybe 7th in name. But frankly minny in 2014/15 is better than ttun and is on par with nebraska and ped state. That's why I say 5th. They could finish between 4th and 6th.
