That was my thought, too. 1-2 is a much, much different situation than 2-1. Tough break for the Twins.

The outfielders still looked pretty deep after Van Slyke called them in. They're worried about a double scoring the winning run, more than getting an out on a short ball, and being able to hold the runner at third.
